In a gale force wind Fry Colts and Deerswood battled out a 1 - 1 draw which keeps both teams in touch with second placed Brislington. After 10 minutes, playing against the wind, Deerswood took the lead through Adam Bates and it was not until the stroke of half time that Fry Colts were able to find the equaliser with a far post header from Ian Fields. The second half saw both teams playing well in the trying conditions but neither were able to find the net. With time running out Deerswood went close to scoring but were denied by a fine goal line block from Dan Hemmings. |
